Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährungsmedizin e. V.  (DGEM)
The German Association for Medical Nutrition (DGEM) is a multidisciplinary organisation of all professional groups, dealing with medical nutrition. Their goals are to support and improve scientific and practical topics in the area of medical nutrition and metabolic research.  They offer courses, symposia and congresses to create and improve relationships to other national and international institutions working in the same areas, as well as apply and deepen knowledge. DGGeriatrie

The German association for geriatrics was founded in 1985 and represents about 1600 members. This association is one of the largest scientific associations in Germany dealing with geriatric medicine. DGGeriatrie supports and coordinates research, practical treatment and education in geriatrics, and develops and deepens new concepts and strategies (e.g. geriatric assessments, ambulatory geriatric rehabilitation, trans-sectoral concepts and integrated models). They offer courses, symposia and congresses to create and improve multidisciplinary relationships among those working in geriatrics to apply and deepen knowledge.
