Nestlé Health Science is an innovative company driven by a pioneering vision. By creating a new model between the traditional food and pharma industries, it aims to shape a different approach to disease prevention and treatment designed for the modern age. The Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences is a specialised biomedical research institute based on the campus of the world-renowned Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL) and part of Nestlé’s global Research & Development network. It aims to combat the prevalence of complex chronic diseases that is continuously and dramatically increasing around the world. These diseases put a huge burden on society in terms of health care expenditure, and also have a negative impact on the quality of life of the patients and their concerned families.
